TESTIMONIAL from HappyHorse Farm, Columbus, NJ, October 11, 2007

Dear Carrie,

It is impossible to express how deeply grateful we are for the healing approach that you have taken with our horses.  When we first called you last March, we wanted to take a more natural approach to the hoofcare of our four horses.  At the time, we could not have imagined the transformative effect on our horses of your generosity of spirit, manifested in your calm nature and positive intentions, and applied through your diverse repertoire of soothing, holistic healing techniques.  That first day, we were hoping merely that you would employ a natural trimming technique with our horses, and that you would ease the discomfort of our chronically lame draft-warmblood cross, Normandy .  Being new to the care of horses, we did not recognize that our two senior horses were displaying worrisome symptoms of insulin resistance.

Now, eight months later, our four equines – in various stages of healing – radiate contentment and well-being.  All have beautifully trimmed hooves and move in a natural, flowing gait.  Thanks to your skill and patience, our 29-year-old quarterhorse, Riley, is shedding his thick curly coat, and he has healed his dangerously flared hooves.  Little Bit, our 25-year-old pony, now stands for her trims with stability and grace.  Most astonishing, however, is the news about Normandy .  With a degenerative lameness that vets and others had decreed can only worsen with time, Normandy has defied his prognosis.  Your healing approach and talented abilities have encouraged him to heal himself.  Oftentimes now seen trotting and cantering elegantly across the pastures, Normandy even, on occasion, gallops valiantly behind our fleet-footed thoroughbred, Maggie.  Best news of all is that the next day, he is quite sound!

Your holistic methods and distinctive approach to each horse – coupled with your optimism and belief in their ability to heal – have made all the difference.  With patience and understanding, you have helped to educate us about healing, nutrition, lifestyle, and possibilities.  Employing your own style of energy healing and equine massage, along with aromatic essential oils, soothing hot towel therapy and homeopathic remedies, you have helped our horses to heal themselves.  We will be grateful to you always -- for your kindness, graciousness, caring, and benevolent good will.
